for Kuwait gyms & studios
Members who stay past February.
We build the membership and class-booking app Kuwait gyms actually need — KNET payments, auto-filling waitlists, a no-show rule members can see, and the WhatsApp flows that catch a member the week their attendance drops. Live in 30 to 45 days, with the sign-up campaign ready to run.
the actual problem
Why the current way is costing you
Fitness in Kuwait is brutally seasonal: January and the weeks after Ramadan carry the year, and by month three the sign-ups have quietly stopped coming. The gyms that survive the flat months are not the ones with the best marketing — they are the ones who noticed a member had not shown up in ten days and did something about it that week.
What ships, and when
Booking & ordering web app
30–45 daysMemberships and packages on KNET, class schedules with auto-filling waitlists, gender-split timetables without a second app, attendance check-in, and a trainer view.
WhatsApp-driven system
14–30 daysThe three retention flows: the attendance-drop nudge at day ten, freeze-instead-of-cancel when someone tries to leave, and the post-Eid win-back.
Native iOS + Android app
45–60 daysA store-listed app once you want push notifications for class reminders and challenges — same backend, so nothing is rebuilt.
Day ranges are for a first-version scope — we fix them in the proposal.
the schedule, published
From day one to launch
- 1
Days 1–5 — scope and rules
Your membership types, class capacities, cancellation window and no-show rule become settings, not code. Gateway paperwork starts now.
- 2
Days 6–18 — build booking and memberships
Class schedule, booking, waitlists, membership purchase on KNET, and the front-desk view. Working version in your hands in week two.
- 3
Days 19–30 — retention and tracking
WhatsApp reminders and the attendance-drop flow, with templates approved. Server-side conversion tracking so sign-up ads optimise on paid memberships, not form fills.
- 4
Days 31–45 — migrate and launch
Existing members moved across with their remaining months intact, staff trained in one session, then the acquisition campaign goes live against real data.
- 5
Day 46 onward — hold the retention line
Monthly: month-three retention, class fill rate, no-show rate, cost per paid membership. One change a month against whichever is worst.
Build or buy?
You are not choosing between an app and nothing — you are choosing between a custom build and a tool you already know. Here is the honest comparison, and sometimes the answer is to stay where you are.
- Glofox
- Keep it ifYou want class booking working this week and your members are comfortable paying by card in a foreign currency.
- Build ifMembers keep asking to pay by KNET, reminders go unread because they are emails, or the per-member fee grows faster than your revenue.
- Mindbody
- Keep it ifYou are part of a chain already standardised on it, or you rely on its marketplace for discovery.
- Build ifYou want your member list, your branding and your pricing rules to be yours, and Arabic to be a first-class language rather than a translation.
- WhatsApp broadcast lists
- Keep it ifYou are under roughly eighty active members and the manual waitlist still fits in one person's day.
- Build ifClasses are being double-booked, the waitlist lives in someone's head, or nobody knows who stopped coming.
the closed loop
Software and marketing, one system.
Sign-up ads land on the class or offer they promised and report the paid membership back as a server-side conversion, so the algorithm learns what a real member looks like instead of chasing form fills. Attendance data drives the WhatsApp retention flows automatically, and the dashboard shows cost per paid membership next to month-three retention — the only two numbers that decide whether January was worth it.

What runs alongside the build
App Development
→We build the software a Kuwait business actually runs on — booking, ordering, memberships, storefronts, WhatsApp automation — and launch it in 30 to 60 days. Because the same team runs your marketing, the app is built around the funnel from day one.
WhatsApp Business API
→In Kuwait, business happens on WhatsApp. We set up the official WhatsApp Business API with automated flows, chatbots and CRM integration so no lead slips through the cracks.
Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
→Instagram and Facebook are where Kuwait scrolls. We build thumb-stopping creative and tight targeting, then let the data — through proper Conversions API tracking — tell us exactly what to scale.
Snapchat Ads
→Few channels reach Kuwait like Snapchat. We pair vertical creative built for the platform with proper conversion tracking to turn that massive reach into measurable sales.
Social Media Management
→Consistency and creative quality build trust. We run your social presence end to end — strategy, bilingual content, posting and community management — so your brand stays top-of-mind in Kuwait.
Performance Marketing
→Performance marketing is about one thing: profitable, predictable acquisition. We manage paid spend across Meta, Google, TikTok and Snap with a relentless focus on cost-per-lead and return on ad spend.

Frequently asked questions
- Why not just use Glofox or Mindbody?
- They are good at classes and awkward in Kuwait: no KNET, reminders that arrive as email, and a per-member fee that scales against you. Trial one for a month and note every time a member asks to pay by KNET or misses a reminder. That list is the build brief. Sometimes it is short and you should stay.
- Can the app handle ladies' hours and separate schedules?
- Yes, and without a second app. Timetables are split by gender and time window, and each member only ever sees the classes they can actually book. Trainers get their own view of the day.
- How does the app actually reduce cancellations?
- Attendance is the leading indicator, so the app watches it. Ten days without a visit triggers a message by name, not a broadcast. Anyone who opens the cancellation screen is offered a freeze first. After Eid, everyone who lapsed gets one timed win-back. You could run all three by hand from a spreadsheet — the app just means you never forget to.
- What happens to my existing members when we switch?
- They move across with their remaining months intact, and we do it before launch rather than during. Staff training is one session, because the front-desk view is deliberately the simplest screen in the app.
- Can you sell personal-training packages in the app?
- Yes — packages on KNET, per-trainer calendars and session check-off. It is the highest-margin thing in the building and usually the most manually sold, so it is worth adding as soon as trainers spend more time scheduling than training.
