From 1 October 2026 Kuwait leaves "Rest of Middle East" and gets its own, noticeably higher rate card.

Service replies stop being free
The first 1,000 replies a month per number are free; after that each reply is charged at the utility rate.

Utility templates inside the window are charged
An order confirmation or delivery update sent inside the 24-hour window used to be free. From this date it isn't.

A payment method becomes mandatory
Without one on the account, service replies stop once the free tier is used. Add it before the date.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the WhatsApp Business API free?
- No. Meta charges per delivered template message, by category and by country, and from 1 October 2026 Kuwait has its own, higher rate card and service replies are charged after 1,000 free a month per number. The platform — Gallabox, in our case — is a separate monthly plan. The pricing page shows both.
- Does Aahfil charge for setup?
- No. Setup through us is free: connecting your number, preparing and submitting Meta's business verification (Meta decides the outcome), and your first templates. You pay the Gallabox plan, at the same price as buying from Gallabox, and Meta's message fees.
- Can I keep my current WhatsApp number?
- Usually, yes. Gallabox supports WhatsApp Coexistence, which runs the Business app and the platform on the same number; Gallabox support switches it on. Otherwise the number is moved to the API, and it stops working in the app. We check which route fits before touching anything.
- Do I get the green tick?
- Not automatically, and nobody can promise it. Meta's blue check needs a verified business portfolio, at least 30 days on the platform, two-step verification and an approved display name, and Meta still decides. Business verification on its own gives no badge.
- Why Gallabox?

- How long does setup take?
- The account can be live within days once Meta verifies the business; how long verification takes is Meta's call. The real work is the flows and the templates, which is where we spend the first weeks.
