A device that has to be supported
Hydrojeen is a Saudi social enterprise, founded in 2020, that makes a smart monitor for household water. Homeowners see their daily consumption in a mobile app and get an alert when usage looks like a leak. Gallabox's write-up explains the appeal: tanker water can cost several times as much as network water, so an undetected leak turns into a surprise bill or water damage.
Hardware brings support work with it. Every new customer has to install the device, pair the app and learn what the readings mean, and some will write in the moment a number looks wrong.
