Can ChatGPT write your medical content?

It can outline, transcribe, translate and draft — usefully. It cannot supply clinical judgement, local prices, your cases or your voice, and anything published under your name carries your professional responsibility regardless of what produced the draft. Use it as a production tool, never as the author.

What it is genuinely good at

Turning a thirty-minute recording of you into a structured outline. Drafting subtitle files you then proofread. Suggesting the ten questions patients ask about a procedure so you can choose which to answer. Tightening a paragraph you wrote. Translating your own Arabic into English.

The pattern: it should always be working from something you actually said or wrote. In that mode it saves hours a month and changes nothing about whose thinking is on the page.

What it cannot do

It does not know what a procedure costs in Kuwait, what the local regulator requires, which technique you use and why, which patients you decline, or what you tell your own family. Those are exactly the specifics that make medical content persuasive, and their absence is why generated pages read as interchangeable.

It is also confidently wrong often enough to matter — a dose, a contraindication, a recovery timeline, a claim that holds elsewhere and not here. Published under your name, that is a professional problem, not a content problem.

The workflow that works

Record yourself answering the question. Transcribe it. Let the tool structure the transcript and suggest headings. Rewrite the result in your own words, adding the numbers, the local detail and the thing you refuse to do. Then read every line before it publishes.

That takes about twenty minutes per piece and produces something no competitor can copy, because it contains your practice. The alternative takes two minutes and produces a page indistinguishable from every other clinic's.

Ask about your own practice

The assistant already knows you're a doctor in Kuwait and what you're reading, so it won't start from scratch.

Paste something you generated and I'll show you which parts read as generic and what to add.

Frequently asked questions

Will search engines penalise it?+

They reward useful specifics regardless of how text was produced. The bigger risk in medicine is accuracy, not detection.

Can I use it for Arabic?+

For drafting from your own Arabic recording, yes. Generating Arabic from an English brief produces exactly the translated-sounding text patients distrust.

Should I tell patients if AI helped?+

No more than you would disclose using a word processor. What matters is that the judgement and the approval are yours.
