How much should a Kuwait clinic spend on ads per month?

Work backwards, never from a percentage. Decide how many new patients you want, divide by your booking rate to get the enquiries needed, multiply by your cost per enquiry, then add roughly a third for the first six weeks of learning. Below a certain floor the data is too thin to optimise and the spend is wasted.

The calculation, in four numbers

Start with the target: ten extra new patients a month, say. If one in three enquiries books and attends, you need thirty enquiries. If an enquiry currently costs you eight dinars, that is 240 KD in media — plus a learning allowance while the campaign finds its audience.

The two numbers you probably do not know yet are your booking rate and your cost per enquiry. Both come from sixty days of tracking, which is why the honest first month is a measurement month rather than a scaling one.

Why tiny budgets fail

Ad platforms need a minimum number of conversions before they can find more people like the ones who converted. A budget that produces two enquiries a week never gives the system enough signal, so it keeps testing and never settles — and the clinic concludes that ads do not work.

It is better to run one procedure, one audience and one message properly for two months than to spread the same money across four campaigns that each starve. If your budget only supports one, choose the procedure with the highest value, not the highest volume.

Seasonality changes the number

Kuwait's calendar moves clinic demand in predictable ways: Ramadan changes both behaviour and ad costs, the summer travel window empties parts of the market, Hala February and back-to-school shift attention, and aesthetics demand clusters ahead of the social season.

Plan a yearly budget with peaks rather than a flat monthly figure. Spending the same amount in August as in October is how clinics waste a quarter of their annual budget without noticing.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a percentage-of-revenue rule?+

It is a lazy shortcut. Two clinics with the same revenue and different lifetime values should spend very differently.

Should the doctor or the clinic pay?+

Whoever pays should own the ad account. Agree that before the first campaign, not when the relationship ends.

What if I can only afford a small budget?+

Then fix the free things first — Google profile, reply speed, reviews — and put the small budget behind retargeting people who already saw you.
