The rule this applies, for an indefinite contract ended by the employer, is fifteen days' wage for each of the first five years and one month's wage for each year after that, capped at one and a half years' total wage. Resignation reduces the entitlement on a sliding scale and pays nothing below three years of service. Unpaid leave, allowances and commission treatment are all places real cases diverge — this gives you the order of magnitude, not a settlement figure.
