Dispatch, supervisors and accounts on one number
Today the job details sit in a technicians' WhatsApp group and the customer chats sit on the dispatcher's phone. In a shared inbox the dispatcher owns new requests and assigns each job, the supervisor for each area sees the chats for their jobs, and accounts picks up anything about payment. Internal notes carry the address, access instructions and what was fixed last time, so customers don't have to repeat themselves and technicians don't hand out personal numbers.
Getting paid by link instead of chasing cash
Meta's in-chat payments aren't available in Kuwait, so payment on WhatsApp means a KNET or card link from your gateway: MyFatoorah, Tap, UPayments or your bank. Send it in the job-done message while the team is still on site, so the customer can pay before they leave. Take a deposit by link for moves and large deep cleans. If a link sits unpaid, send one reminder the next day, then have the office call.
Service contract and AC maintenance reminders
Annual maintenance contracts, regular pest control and the pre-summer AC service all run on dates you already keep in a spreadsheet. Send a utility reminder seven days before a contract ends or the next visit is due, with the renewal price and a payment link, and a second on the day. Time the AC service reminders for March and April, before the heat arrives, while technicians still have open slots.
Bringing back customers who booked once
Cleaning, pest control and AC work all come round again. Message opted-in customers when the next visit makes sense: a deep clean 90 days on, a pest treatment at the interval your technician recommended, a sofa and carpet clean before Ramadan or Eid guests arrive. Use the job history in your sheet, give one clear reason per message, and stop after the third. A laundry can do the same for customers who haven't sent an order in 30 days.
Asking for a Google review when the job is done
People searching for AC cleaning or pest control near them choose from the Google Maps results, and the reviews are what they compare. Send one message a few hours after the job-done message, with the direct review link, and send it once. If the reply mentions a leak, a stain or a late team, route it to the supervisor to arrange a return visit before it becomes a public review. Never offer a discount in exchange for a review.
What we need to get your company live
Your commercial licence for Meta's business verification, the number customers already call, or a new one if today's number is a technician's personal line, and the company name exactly as it should appear. Add your service list with visit charges, the areas you cover and the questions customers ask most. Verification is the slow step, so start it in winter and be live before the summer AC rush, not in the middle of it.
What to measure before and after the switch
Count four things for a month before and a month after: how long a new request waits for its first reply, how many requests become booked jobs, how many visits go wrong because nobody was home or the invoice is still unpaid a week later, and how many customers book again. Compare the same season, because the summer AC rush will swamp any other change.
The mistakes that cost home services companies jobs
Quoting a price in the chat without seeing a photo, then arguing about it at the door. Giving customers the technician's personal number, so the next job goes to him directly. Sending a summer AC offer to every number that ever called: people block, and a number that is blocked and reported gets restricted. And adding a discount to the end of a 'technician on the way' message, which Meta can reclassify as marketing.
