Sedar Global swapped WhatsApp-and-Excel follow-ups for one shared inbox

Sedar Global, a home furnishing and interiors brand serving the Middle East and beyond, tracked customer conversations with the regular WhatsApp app and Excel, and many prospects dropped off after the first contact. It moved to Gallabox's shared inbox, chatbots, broadcasts and integrations. Gallabox reports a 30% overall improvement in business growth at an early stage of adoption.

Leads that went quiet after the first reply

Sedar Global is a home furnishing and interior solutions brand serving customers across the Middle East and beyond. With a large and varied customer base, it needed a dependable way to keep conversations in order, follow up on time and stop opportunities slipping away.

Gallabox's page names three problems. Conversations with leads and customers across several channels were hard to keep organised. Follow-up was inconsistent, because there were no reminders and no automation, so many potential customers dropped off after their first interaction. And the team had little visibility of where each customer stood, which led to delays and lost sales.

The tools at the time were WhatsApp's own built-in features plus Excel spreadsheets for tracking. The page describes that combination as time-consuming, prone to errors and unable to grow with the business.

What Sedar set up on Gallabox

Sedar compared another chat tool before deciding, and chose Gallabox for its balance of price, ease of use and support. The page says Gallabox's onboarding team guided the move.

The objectives were to nurture leads with timely, consistent messages, bring customer communication from several channels into one platform, automate routine support and follow-ups to cut drop-offs, and give the team back the time it spent on repetitive work.

To get there, Sedar replaced the WhatsApp-and-spreadsheet routine with four Gallabox tools. The shared team inbox puts every conversation and its status in one view. Chatbots take on routine support questions. Broadcasts send updates and follow-ups to groups of customers at once. Integrations connect WhatsApp to the rest of the business, although the page doesn't name the systems involved.

What changed

Gallabox's page reports a 30% overall improvement in business growth, a 25% increase in employee productivity and a 15% rise in customer satisfaction, each stated in both its summary cards and its results. The results section adds a 10% improvement in first-time customer conversion, which it credits to more structured communication.

The page presents these as steady gains at an early stage of adoption. Productivity rose because repetitive tasks moved off the team, and satisfaction because follow-ups now arrive when they should.

What a Kuwait business can take from this

Showroom businesses in Kuwait — furniture, curtains, kitchens, interiors — often lose a prospect between the showroom visit and the quote, which is the gap Sedar set out to close. Log every enquiry in one shared inbox with a clear status, and make each follow-up about that customer's own quote or measurement visit rather than a generic promotion. Keep promotional follow-ups in marketing templates, which cost $0.0792 each to Kuwait numbers from 1 October 2026, and ask for a location pin before a home measurement so the visit starts on time. For tracking status, Gallabox's custom inbox views start on the Essential plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sedar Global an Aahfil client?
No. Sedar Global is a Gallabox customer, and this page summarises the story Gallabox published, with the original linked. Aahfil is a Gallabox partner in Kuwait and had no part in it.
Can the WhatsApp Business app and Gallabox share one number?
Yes. Gallabox supports WhatsApp Coexistence, which keeps the Business app and Gallabox on the same number, and Gallabox support switches it on. Sedar's page doesn't say whether it kept its old number this way.
What does a shared inbox change for a small sales team?
Everyone sees every conversation, who owns it and where it stands, so a follow-up doesn't depend on one person's memory or spreadsheet. On Gallabox, Basic includes 3 users and Essential 6, with extra Essential users at $18 a month each.
