Drops beat continuous stock in this market
Kuwait's fashion audience responds to scarcity and timing far more than to breadth. A brand that quietly adds pieces to a website all month generates almost no urgency; the same pieces released as a dated drop, teased for a week and sold in a defined window, sell a materially higher share of stock at full price.
The rhythm matters more than the size. A drop every three or four weeks, always announced the same way, trains your audience to check for you — and that anticipation is worth more than any single campaign. It also gives your content a natural calendar instead of the daily scramble for something to post.
Your DMs are a sales channel, not an inbox
In Kuwait, a very large share of fashion sales close in direct messages — sizing questions, availability, "is this still there", and payment arranged by link. Most brands treat this as admin handled between other tasks, which means replies come hours later, after the moment has passed.
Treat it as the sales floor it actually is. Saved replies for the questions you get every day, a size guide sent as an image rather than typed each time, and a response-time target measured in minutes during a drop. Moving this onto a proper WhatsApp Business setup, with catalogue and payment links, converts noticeably better than an Instagram inbox that one person checks between other jobs.
Fix the gap between the post and the payment
Count the taps between someone seeing a piece in a story and having paid for it. For many Kuwait brands the honest answer is six or seven — story, profile, link, homepage, search, product, checkout — and each one loses people. Every step you remove is revenue you already earned but were not collecting.
The fixes are ordinary: link straight to the product, not the homepage. Offer KNET, not only cards. Do not force account creation. Show delivery time and cost before checkout rather than as a surprise. If you sell on Shopify, most of this is configuration rather than development — our Shopify work and the CRO guide for Kuwait stores cover the specifics.
