The cut-off date is the whole campaign
Decide your Eid delivery cut-off before you write a single ad, then put it in the loudest place you have. A bar at the top of every page, a line under the add-to-cart button, and a reminder in the cart: order by the 26th and it arrives before Eid. Kuwaiti shoppers buy gifts late, and a large share of Eid orders land in the last four days. The single biggest cause of angry WhatsApp messages on the first day of Eid is a customer who assumed. Write the date in Arabic and English, and keep counting it down publicly as the day gets closer.
Book courier capacity three weeks out, in writing, not on a phone call. Every local courier is saturated in the last ten days of Ramadan, and a vague promise turns into two-day-late deliveries. Agree a daily pickup slot and a cap you can actually hit — most small stores push 60 to 120 parcels a day through one driver and no more. Then make the site tell the truth about that cap: when same-day is full, switch to next-day automatically instead of taking the order and apologising later. A proper Shopify store lets you turn shipping rates and cut-off dates on and off by the hour, which is exactly what this week needs.

Wrapping and a written card are why they buy from you
Turn wrapping into a real product, not a checkbox at the end. Charge 1.5 to 3 KD for it, photograph it properly, and show the wrapped box on the product page, not only at checkout. In Kuwait a wrapped Eid order is often going straight to a diwaniya or a family gathering, and the buyer is judged on how it looks arriving. Stores that add paid wrapping usually see 20 to 40 percent of Eid orders take it, and average order value rises by more than the wrapping fee, because a gift buyer trades up once the packaging looks right.
Add a gift message field and actually print it on a card. Two rules make it work: let the customer ship to an address that is not their own, and never put the invoice or the price slip inside the box. Then say both of those things on the product page, because people abandon carts assuming the price will be in there. Collect the recipient's phone number in a separate field too, since your driver will call it. A driver calling the sender to ask for directions to the sender's own mother ruins the surprise you were paid to protect.
Go deep, not wide, on stock. Eid gifting concentrates hard: in most stores 15 to 25 items carry the majority of Eid revenue — the perfume set, the boxed sweets, the black abaya, the one bag everyone screenshots. Order three to four times your normal depth on those and leave the long tail alone. Running out of your hero item on the 25th costs you far more than dead stock on the rest, and there is no restock window: your supplier is closed for Eid too. What is on the shelf on the 20th is what you sell.
Three days of rush, then a month of silence
The first three days of Eid are a second peak and most stores sleep through them. Kids are holding eidiya cash, everyone is off work and on their phone, and people finally buy for themselves after buying for everyone else. Keep ads running at half budget those three days with a different message: no gifting, no deadline, just what is new and what is discounted. Deliveries will be slow because couriers are on holiday, so say it plainly on the site — orders placed during Eid ship from the fourth day — and people will still buy.
Then the drop. From roughly the fifth day of Eid, Kuwait empties out: Dubai, Georgia, Europe, and by July the exodus is complete. Traffic still looks fine but conversion falls off a cliff, and if you leave the Eid budget running you will burn 300 to 600 KD teaching yourself a lesson. Cut spend by half within a week of Eid, move what is left to retargeting people who bought or browsed during the season, and use the quiet three weeks to email and WhatsApp your new buyer list. That list is the real asset the campaign built.
Split leftover stock in two. Anything with Eid printed on the box or a dated design goes on clearance within ten days at 30 to 40 percent, because it loses value every week and Eid Al Adha packaging is different anyway. Everything neutral goes back to full price and waits: Eid Al Adha is about ten weeks after Eid Al Fitr and the same gifting behaviour returns. Do not blanket-discount the whole store to clear a few boxes. You train your best customers to wait for a sale that only ever needed to cover two shelves.
